Balcony these were spectacular as a mass planting. I have seen your blog - lovely photos. My favourite was the pansies as well - just gorgeous colours.

I wish I could grow Dahlias on my balcony but they seem to attract all the earwigs from all over town! :( One year I put plastic cups stuffed with newspaper on canes in the pots which I emptied daily but it made no difference to the plants, the petals were eaten back to their bases & the leaves were like lacework!
I put the last surviving plant in my sister's garden a few years ago it grows there quite happily, coming up year after year & the earwigs seem to leave it alone!

Lovely Dahlias! I also like to take photos of the flowering beds in parks & gardens & on the town Ring Road. There was a really lovely display of Pansies in pastel blues & yellows. You will find a couple of photos in one of my blogs.
