Thanks everyone, glad you like it too. Awesome Janey, glad to hear they are making progress . Your larkspur and pink poppies are up too, I can't wait to see them bloom !

So pretty!... love the little pom-pom i the middle...I bought T. Sweet Kate last summer and it is coming up...the foliage is a striking yellow and the flowers are huge comparatively. This is another plant I remember from my youth...the flowers are a striking blue-purple and the common name here is "Widow Maker" .... odd name for such a lovely innocent looking flower, don't you think?

I just love the Sweet Kate tradescantia too Lori. I have it everywhere ....lol . It's worth having for the foliage alone, but when those dark purple blooms open against that bright yellow foliage, you instantly fall in love with it all over again !

Great close-ups Anchorman ! There are so many varieties of this long blooming perennial on the market now, it's hard to stop at just one isn't it ? I'm looking for the lovely double blooming one to add to my collection named 'caerulea plena'.
I live on the east coast in the USA. They bloom from Spring thru Autumn for me too, I do have to cut most of my varieties back in late summer to rejuvenate them, but they're blooming again in a month, and continue to bloom until our first hard freeze in November.
