Long tailed tits

These long Tailed tits are different to the ones found in the UK. They are the northern and eastern race.The western race have a dark stripe (moustache) on their head which goes through their eye. How fascinating. I didn't know that before but I thought they were different so I had a look in my trusty little book.

Thanks for that gem of information Sue. I didn't realise that they were different. I'm not surprised because even the sparrows here are different to UK.
