I never noticed the seed pods on this tree or others. I would assume they do have smaller seed pods than Delonix regia - Royal Poinciana.

That's the only drawback with the poinciana - we're forever picking up the seed pods underneath them. We have two at our front gate and it can sometimes look a mess out there.

I know the seed pods are very long. We don't have that problem here, because we have few trees here compared to the many trees that grow there in the tropics..
