Thanks Everyone. I think the roots have burst out of their basket so spreading like wild fire as the pond is clay lined .... I'm not complaining though. Lots more to come. The pink ones are only just in bud.

Hi Jane/Ray. To be honest, we've only bought one - a deep pink one - the rest we robbed from my mum's pond and they've done really well. I think the pond benefits from the shade they give too and I would guess the wildlife like them :)

Yes, pale pink, very nice and we have some pale yellow ones. I've actually got a cerise pink one too but I cant see any buds on that one. Spring Watch is on Sandra, just started BBC2 x

They do KEEP coming once established ,its one of the reasons I love them they are just so willing to please and wonder!

They are so regal they almost look unreal Dawn, it will be with us (summer) before we know, time flies when you are older........
