HE IS BEAUTIFUL! We have lots of Dunnocks this year - for some reason, lovely arent they - he looks like a miniature owl. :-)

They are getting so well trained here Flower our food bill for these birds just keeps growing ..

Everything seems to be bursting a pace this year Dawn we ve really had 2 wet summers wonder if a sign of some lovely weather and nature playing catch up ?

Many of these birds able to have 2 or more broods a year so in a good year they may stock up the breeding pool ?

Sounds logical BB. To be honest, the plants in my garden have never looked so good for years. The plum and apple trees are loaded, the gunneras are massive - weird but then again we usually get late frosts which put everything back for weeks but not this year :-)))) Let's hope nature is playing catch up and we gets lots my baby birds in the coming months.

Awww he's soooo cute! We had baby Dunnocks this year that have fledged-fingers crossed for another brood. You get so many animals in your garden I'm very envious!

Thanks Kimi .. yes quite right Toto can only get so much info on such a small label.lol

For some reason they seem to drive the robins nuts whether its food nesting sites they seem such inoffensive little birds to us .

I think that they are wonderful little birds and although I love them all, robins do have a bit of a reputation for aggresion, don't they!
