Thank you. This one grows in a pot with Ice Blue and Kingfisher.

When that next bud opens it will look like a 'hose in hose'.

I'm hoping that the original bloom will still be there when the second opens.

It'll make a smashing photo if it is, Toto.

I'll take one if I get the chance but I fear that the first bloom will be long past it's sell by date.

I'm afraid not Avis, I am only a novice. The only tip I can think of and seems to work for me is something that I have read and followed and that is; plant any new Clematis about twice the depth that they come in the pots when you buy them. Apparently this helps to reduce the incidence of Clematis wilt as roots can form from the buried stems.
