Yes Delonix there are fantastic birds around here - I've just got to be lucky enough to capture them with my camera.

You've done an excellent job! I'm never able to capture birds by camera...they also fly away by time I have the chance. San Diego has some interesting parrots...I have a flock of parrots that fly over the house almost every day. Someitmes they may sit on the power lines for a short period of time.
None of these parrots are native to San Diego, however.

This is my favourite

Bobg this one is the juvenile - he loses that rusty coloured bib as he grows older and then he will look a little like a willie wagtail. He's a little fellow.
