Russian Cherry

At the Bot. garden, this cherry carrys loads of berries around the start of september. Sweet little ones. Really a thicket of bloom roght now.

They are little fruits, in clumps. They are sweeter than pie cherries and the fruits are much smaller. Much sweeter comparing to the bitter chokecherries, also small red fruit. This pic from my old phones doesn't give it justice. The prior close up does better. Pretty little thing.
