The foliage on many of the aconitums dies off after flowering so I wouldn't get too worried by it. Just make sure the plant doesn't go short of water if we have a hot, dry summer as, being newly planted, the roots won't have established yet

Hello Andrew....aren't these unusual, I treated myself to one this year and it's just finished flowering. The leaves are turning a deep red colour, do you think that's okay?
