they lost two of their younge but their little daughter suvived

we have two sets of blackbirds this year the other has a son, so thats lovely to see to, they are so protective,

Our borders alive with them as they fledge before getting tail feathers - only just able to fly short distances and very vunerable but those feathers grow quickly they need to ..

yes i went into the garden lastnight and little one was waiting for mum and dad she shot under wheelbarrow as i approached,i could see her peeping out bless, i always watch for sammy the cat next door just in case, i only let angelina out while im there,

We keep our cats in during this time but cant legislate for others ..still they do seem to be making up for poor summers we ve had.Loads of butterflies lots of swallows and house martins so signs are good this year.

yes its lovely to see them all BB, lots of swallows here as we are close to fields and open space, see them swooping as i drive to work down the lanes, its wonderfull, nice to see some sunshine today to BB, got my weeding done and washing,, clouds about so probably rain later :o((

Wonderful to see Mum and Daughter, Ive not seem any young blackbirds just the adults.

I have two families but i can tell the difference as 1 female is so freindly and the other one goes as soon as i go in garden

me to clarice, the other family have had males but this one she comes close to house when she wants foods

Thats a shame but they do seem to be breeding well and probably have more before summer out .
