Hi M., Thanks for the compliment!. I planted a few little plants in between the stones that had large gaps...New Zealand Brass Buttons" (Leptinella Sqanida?) and "Dwarf Thrift" (Ameria "victor Reity?") and Mossy Stonecrop (Sedum Lydeum) -- they are a brand called Steppables. They are supposedly just a little more rugged if you step on them. I'm not quite sure how this whole project gets finished -- and in my house that's always the problem anyway. NOTHING gets finished. But so far I really like it. I would've planted more little plants, but I think I needed very little ones, and everything I found was kind of big already.
