Variegated Sweet Iris blooming in May

very familiar...I have this too and like Chrispook says "I wish it lasted longer." I planted it too near the Blue Flag, it doesn't have the presence to stand beside the giants...but it is a nice iris...I'm going to hunt for the perfect spot and give it some tlc and see if it comes better this season.

Hi Di,
I see the yellow iris in the background of this picture...I've heard they are very hardy and somewhat invasive...(I don't really care about invasiveness because I'm looking for an assertive iris to put among the Blue Flag)...In your opinion do you think that might be feasible?

I love Iris. The little new shoots are beginning to come through now in my garden, so by May we should have flowers. I wish they lasted longer.
