Lake at Hadrian's Villa

Looks a lovely spot to sit and have a picnic. Love the tall trees.

That, Gee, is exactly where we had our picnic and the litle stray cat, mentioned in another photo, helped eat our ham and mozzarella chesse !!

We've obviously got the same taste, Terry, including the sandwiches!

So the little cat isn't really a stray ...it lives in a villa!! and dines with the guests in the garden...posh kitty! LOL.
The columnar cypresses punctuate the Italian landscape...like exclamation points. These specimens must be pretty ancient!
