Polygonatum odoratum "variegatum" in the front hosta bed. Spreads slow but is a lovely addition to the shade garden.

I bought this plant the year before last. It didn't bother coming up at all last year! So I e-mailed the nursery to complain that it hadn't come up and they said to give it another year, I was pretty pessimistic about this, but I did give it another year and now there are 3 shoots coming up! yippee! Very beautiful plant - I'm gunna plant it with my hostas to give contrast and early interest.
