Thank! Yes, that's the very common Bougainvillea growing on my neighbor's fence next to passion fruit vines.
This is a new view...there used to be a dozen or so 130 foot/ 40 meter tall Eucalyptus trees growing in my neighbor's yard.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't see the high mountains from where I live because my elevation is too high. The Laguna Mountains are visible from Downtown San Diego which is just above sea level.

Great photo - love the overhanging jacaranda in the shot. Are they bougainvillea along the fence?
