Yes, they are...this plant is so small I still can't believe its blooming. It is only 2.5 feet / 76 cm tall in a 5 gallon container. Most trees in the ground grow quickly to about 20 feet/ 6.1 meters tall then usually bloom...which can take about 2 years.

There's not much a tree...it so tiny. It mostly flowers on a stick. LOL! I've never seen such a small flowering African Tulip tree.

It's such an interesting bloom - good close shot. My tree is far too tall to get a shot of the flowers like this.
