Yes Milky - that's what I spotted. I haven't seen many ladybirds with these lovely patches.

Thanks Irish - I really don't get many ladybirds out here so it was a treat to see this one.

Morgana I must say I haven't seen any for a long time and it was a delight to spot this fellow.

I either have seen any in my garden for a few years,I see them land on people but not my garden

I haven't seen many Ladybirds at all this year. What a great photo. They are my favourite insects and so useful at clearing up pests.
