I think this is an opium poppy....don't tell the police on me!! It self seeds all over, i pull some up as i don't want too many they might think i'm running a business LOL!!

Beautiful - I scattered hundreds of seeds around my garden and nothing materialised! I was very disappointed.

I think that you're right SK, it's an opium poppy. My uncle grew them at our old house, they got so tall and are very beautiful.
