Blow it my camera has run out of puff so will need to put it on charge tomorrow ready for dashing round the garden. As I live on a busy main road which is also a bus route with a bus stop opposite the house I feel very conscious of their stares as I crouch in various positions to get the best angle. This is even worse when in shooting mode I don't notice the bus stopping and as I right myself suddenly become aware of the vacant stares through the bus windows as they try to work out just what I am up to if the camera isn't instantly noticed. So after all the rabbiting thanks again Terratoonie Sue

lovely photo of the fish. It took me ages to get photos of mine as the ghost koi don't come to the top very often.

They love sunbathing and jockey for the best place in the pond with the 4 orfs lining up together and actually following the sun around the pond. I don't believe that fish only have a 10 second memory or how do they remember each day where the food is and the best places for their tan? Actually I think it is me with the short memory...What was I saying?

Next time you stand up to a bus load of vacant stares just start clicking away at them, they'll soon turn around LOL
Your fish are beautiful as is the rest of your garden. It always amazes me how people can put so much colour and feeling into their plots (no matter how big or small) without it ending up like a jungle, Thats why I stick to veg gardening, no imagination LOL
H & K's......Ian.

Smashing pond Sue, your fish look so healthy. I have a small pond too and I also could spend hours just watching the fish . How is yours bearing up with the icy weather? I'm a bit worried about about mine as it has been as cold as -16deg here in Scotland and the ice has been 2" thick. Hope yours are ok!
