Edible Uses
Leaves; Seed.
Seed when cooked are not easily digestible, but this said, it is very nutritious. The seed, when dried, can be ground into powder, when mixed with cereal flour for making ino bread, biscuits, cakes etc.
Leaves, young shoots and young pods can be cooked with meat dishes.
The young leaves are used a tea substitute.
