Winter in northern Oz: Bauhinia variegata starts to flower

This bauhinia becomes covered in large fragrant white flowers with lemon-green markings that flower on the leafless branches.

Well, that looks familiar. lol. Bauhinia variegata 'Candida' blooms here in late Winter and Spring. The other white Orchid tree (Bauhinia forficata) is blooming now.
