This lovely fellow is what my cousin calls a "six point buck" He's beautiful and he has his own little hareem of two very sleek and pretty does... they were feeding in the hayfield beside the farmhouse! Imagine seeing that sight every morning? the mosquitoes were just wicked..so I imagine that's another reason for their not being in the bush.

Great shot. I miss seeing deer. It looks perfect in this light.

Moose caribou and reindeer. Thats it for this type of animal. I had deer in the fields all around growing up. And elk calls all through the fall. I do miss that sometimes. Caribou and reindeer are so silent.

My brother made a moose call from rolled birchbark...they sure make strange noises...and he had them down pat...so pat, that a bull moose surprised him...too close for comfort and kinda miffed that it was a false alarm!!
