Clematis Niobe

Now, that does look like my Niobe, but Spritzhenry thought mine looked wrong colour for Niobe! Perhaps it was just my camera playing tricks. Beautiful velvety looking flowers. Mine grows up a log and onto the garden wall! Lovely pic.

Paul, i posted 2 pics in the 'my garden' section so that the flower can be seen with sun on it and in shade.
That shot is the shadier one, making it look a burgundy colour.

Jacque, i bought a very young, just 1 stem, about 10" high Caroline last weekend.
She's been put into a larger pot where she'll stay until she's a bit more grown-up !!!!!
Lucky you having a grown-up version, can't wait for mine to mature :)

I have this one too! Most definitely up with my favourite clematis. Mine grows through Cotinus Royal Purple and Geranium psilostemon.

That is a very very nice combination Lou, sounds like my kind of colour scheme :)
