Gaillardia Grandiflora(Blanket flower)

I beleive this perennial variety(which I only added to the border this year) is called Arizona Sun, but I seem to have mislaid the label already! Also in photo is a pink Gaura.

Don't want to worry you, but I've never yet managed to get a gaillardia through a winter :-(

I love gaillardias too, but have had to buy them every summer.They dont last thru the cold winters.Could try keeping them in a green house.
I ve grown them in India and there always around and multiply.

That's strange Preeti because mine have lasted through a few winters. Not this one as I only planted it last year but I did some tidying up in the garden today and it still appears to be alive(I hope)

wow...whats the secret.Is it coz you have your plantings close together or what, or you buy them in earlier in spring. I would love mine to last atleast few years.
