Our first plant

This hydrangea was the very first plant at our newly built home. It has been in the native soil for about 2 years and has been on a strict organic program for about 1 year. It never bloomed until I stripped it of all chemicals and amended its' surrounding soil with organic amendments, such as dry molasses, lava sands, compost and mulch.
I have three other Hydrangeas, but none have produced multi-colored blooms like this one has. Interesting!

Lovely
U must have a lot of iron in ur soil. I think that's what's in the food u can buy for Hyd. to turn purple if you just give them a bit of it they come out this color.
