i think i sent you two types? this does look like the Acorus, but the Gardeners Gaters will need to be served an ASBO - i have mine in a pot, i would'nt plant it in the ground, it is a real thug. Acorus does spread but not as bad. have a look on my pages i have both listed with pic's so you can see the difference. the Gardeners gaters, is quite fine and ribbon like leaves, the type that are very easy to get cut from. and when it first grows leaves have a pink ting, as they mature the are cream and green stripes, and it will grow quite tall, mine was approx 2- 2 1/2ft last year but dies completely back for the winter. the Acorus is evergreen and has much more ridid leaves mainly green with cream margin smooth, and upright. they grow into clumps but they kind of have a spirlling effect, they are much shorter grow to approx 1ft tops. hope this helps. would love to see a pic of them now...
