I hope it will eventually be a billowing mass like yours.

They certainly do spread!
BTW - not meaning to be rude - have you got a lot more clover in your lawn than usually? I'm asking because we have - and loads and loads of dandelions, too! I knew that they were rampant this year, but why all the clover?

As you know, Louise, we have SOOOO much lawn area that we made the decision not to attempt a feeding/weeding/scarifying programme. We just try to remove some of the many large weeds that appear - like thistley-things and so on.
We checked out a firm who will do all the lawn care for you on contract - the price would have bankrupted us! So the clover stays...at least the bees enjoy it!

I think that's a wise idea about the feed, weed etc programme, it's a good idea in theory but not really practical on your scale of things.
Doing that on contract sounds like a lucrative business to be in though !!!!

On paper, it's a great idea, having someone coming in at the right times and doing all the right things to create green sward...BUT...we are definitely not millionaires, so it's not on. :-(
