This beautiful flower is growing between paving slabs! We used to have loads of them but I brought rust in on a giant mallow bought from a yellow book garden years ago. This one looks ok so fingers crossedX not a kiss just my attempt at introducing a new whatever you call it.:-))

Thanks, I'll collect some seed and try again with them, the bees absolutely love them.

Yes they are very pretty, but seem to struggle a little in my garden, think other plants areoverpowering them, time for a move next season.

Newfie, if you look at my blog, bornagain triesagain you will see musk mallow, the seeds of which must have lain dormant for years. I've loads of plants now:-) We had a lot on the back garden at one time, but I brought in a mallow rust on a plant bought from an 'open garden' so had to eradicate many years ago. Now I can't see any rust on these mallows and don't the bees love them! :-) Best of luck with them Janey:-)
