Thanks San and B. Irish-hubby was sooo excited about the bees cause it means there must be a hive near. on the down side I found one of those shiny lavender beetles that has come over from the continent

Looks great. This is one of the varieties my local Organic Lavender Farm use to distil oils and my favourite to smell. I'm hoping to buy a plant this Spring.

these really need to be replaced but I am finding it hard to take that step. They hate being waterlogged in the winter.
