I love this one i don't suppose it will grow over here in blighty?

I've read they are tropical, however, may be root-hardy to 25 degrees F. / -3.8 degrees C....although I'm not sure of the soil conditions -- wet or dry soil makes a difference. Many tropical plants will rot in cold wet soil.

It's on my wish list also...I didn't purchase one today because they were more than I wanted to spend $40.00 for a 5 gallon plant.

I can't take credit though...I was with a friend who took this photo with their new IPhone. The new IPhone takes better photos than my digital camera.

Aha! I didn't know that would be possible .... a phone taking better pics.

digital photography is so much easier than films and processing. i take my camera everywhere now. my phone is an old one but my daughters one takes great photos and the battery lasts ages.

Yes, the new IPhones are incredible...they are capable of taking 3 megapixel photos... it's pretty amazing! I must purchase one, some day.

I agreee with you 100%! I take my camera with me everywhere also. You never know when there's going to be a photo shoot moment.

They grow fine also in the bay area. Too well..big overpowering foliage I am told.

I have one on my shade structure in the front yard. It grows very fast and has more leaves than flowers. The purple bracts are very beautiful, though.

Yes, I really like flowers on this vine. It's too vigorous of a growing vine.

How do you keep it under control by pruning back

I just keep cutting back many of the new tips.
