This is a Summer Azure butterfly on Great Blue Lobelia, a native wildflower growing in my yard. The Summer Azure is very similar to the Spring Azure. It uses many different plants and trees for a host, one being Wingstem (Verbesina alternifolia), also Viburnum, Wild Cherry, Dogwood and Sumac (all of which are abundant in my yard.)
