Shasta's grown from scratch

These Shasta Daisies were grown from seed in containers for about a year before I finally put them in the ground. The plants never thrived well in the pots. They were "alive" but not thriving. Once they got a taste of the richly amended soil in my "bay window bed", the little guys took off and grew to this level in less than 3 months! Amazing....
