Here is the side garden nice and finished with the gravel down, this year we will be replacing the bark chippings as the local cats have started to use it as a toilet area...sooo not good!

Thanks yet again Eggbox you are a sweetie!
The strange animal up on the right of the picture is in fact a squirrel and yet another bargain from a carboot as I only paid £5 for it complete with a pretty big box plant...although I did at first think it had no ears but I found them in the end!Hel.xxx.

i love the way you have shaped this bed to fit in snugly to the space, it looks really good and i think you have done really well in such a short space of time!

Thank you Majeekahead I was originally going for a kitchen garden but I thought no it would be so much better having the above design.
On the left where you just can't see in the picture there is a tiny decking area 5.8ft x 8ft which has just enough room for a couple of hardwork chairs and a little table and is a perfect position to sit out on a warm summer's night! Hel.xxx.

Is that a standard Willow I spy? I really love them - I keep looking round my garden to see if I can possibly squeeze one in....

Thank you Sid although I have to admit the design changed so many times on paper but it did turn out pretty well in the end.
Yes Spritzhenry you are correct its a willow a stunning Flamingo Tree surely you could fit a little one somewhere? You know the old saying where there's a will there's a way! ;0) Hel.xxx.

Hi Patrick it is my design I drived my poor hubby insane with the times I changed it but we got here in the end and although hubby might tell you different it was all done very cheaply! ;o)
Thank you David although no way as near as fun as your 'Oz' garden I have added a few plant animals for the little ones after all start them young and they should help you out later on when ones poor bones ache too much! :0) Hel.xxx.
