Snow-on-the-Mountain

Snow-on-the-Mountain (Euphorbia marginata) just showed up in my garden one year and has reseeded itself every year since. It's a native annual. When it first leafs out, the leaves are solid green with a very thin edge of white. As the plant matures through the summer, the white margin gets larger. Although it is a beautiful plant, the juice of the plant is TOXIC and can cause redness, swelling, and blistering of the skin on contact. I've never had a problem with it.
