Regarding the cleome... Mine is in a pot, so it wasn't out of control. It's looking ugly now...all spent and going to seed. Do you cut it back and it returns next season or just collect seeds for next year? Bummer about the return to sender!! I'll send you my address on a PM again.

As far as I know Cleome is a annual, not 100%sure of that fact, but I grew it in the interior where it grew into a huge bush, and then died in the Winter. I think collecting the seeds would be fine. Check it out if it is an annual in your part of the world.
