It looks like a milkweed.. the pictures I found that resemble it most are labelled 'Asclepias curassavica' (?)

Thank you very much Rosalieg. That was quick! I looked up 'Asclepias curassavica' and that's definitely it :))) Great call. Irt is in the milkweed family. Here's a link to more info on this plant.
