Bee Bathing in Torenia

Love torenias - got lots of these myself but I've not seen blue ones or is it just looking blue in the photo. Our torenias are usually dark or light purple and pink.

They are a bit lavender but the picture shows a true color, though a little more vivid. Have you seen bees wiggle around in them like this? It was really bizarre.

Yes Greenthumb, I have seen the bees wiggling around inside the torenias - head right in. They seem to love these flowers.

That alone and I'll grow them for years. :-) I couldn't coax him out of there for anything.

Funny w it's backside in, huh? I got one of these as a freebie a while ago and it bit the dust... :( It was a little dried out when I got it.

Thank you all. :-) Backside in, tracy, that is why I thought he was stuck just beating his wings against the petals in there. But he wouldn't come out. Seemed he wanted to be noisily buzzing in there. :-) Now I know to just let them sit. lol.

Curious...I guess he knows what he's doing :)
