Gravelly bit

This is the other half of our garden (told you it was small) - again nothing would grow due to the overgrown Hawthorn Hedge (owned & jealously guarded by the bungalows at the back) so we gave up & replaced the desperate lawn with gravel.

You've done well, working with the problems presented to you.
The end result is wonderful.
I like stones, gravel and rocks in gardens.:o)

I really like the way you've done this, it does have a mediterranean feel to it....you could imagine those are umbrella pines with the long trunks.....:o)

I think this area looks good Twiggy, i like what you've done there.
It reminds me of a Mediterranean courtyard/garden.
