Same here with my plants what a summer every time we have a good easter over the years I have noticed that we never get much of a summer for long. Thanks also for the offer of a cuppa lol but I could not drive that far as I suffer with panic attacks and osteoarthitis with impingements on my spine and have it in my hips too.

I made my garden as low matainece before I had my operation, my son has fitted me a an out side water tap with hose so all I have to do is pull and wind it in and out and my grand children do a bit of weeding for me so I treat them for it my daughter who detests gardening has helped me a bit with the hanging baskets, but no longer wants to do any thing more. Thats why I have a lot of tubs I can reach them lol.

Wish I lived closer as I would love to help if ever you needed, but sounds as you have planned everything out and your pictures are proof of that.

lol I have plant close together and not many weeds come and also ground cover to surpress the weeds, I put gravel at the top and placed tubs with fruit trees and strawberries along the fence I put trellis for the climbing roses and have a small piece of lawn which hopefully will soon be gone for a pond if I can find one cheap enough.
