Thank you all, I can't remember it being this colour last year....:o)

If the soil becomes more ericaceous, the flowers tend to be blue in colour.

Maybe that is what has happened Terra.....also I have been watering the leaves and heads with the ericaceous liquid, so that must be it!

Yes, I've done that with some of mine.
I've found that if I plant a hydrangea in an area which has pockets of ericaceous compost and other areas of ordinary compost, this can produce variations of bluey and pinky flowers on different branches.:o)

Well, that's it then, I wondered how come some were so bluey shaded and couple of others quite pink...............clever little plant :o)

I don't think it works quite the same with budgies..
..their feathers come out the same colours whichever seeds they eat...Lol... unless you know different ?...

Not at this moment Terra LOL. The only colour changes I have seen due to intake are in rather an unmentionable part of their anatomy :o)

Especially if they decide they will eat the cherries. The first time that happened years ago, I thought one was bleeding to death, frightened the life out of me, I have now learned what goes in one colour, usually comes out that colour LOL. Good job my Hydrangeas are more sensible!!!
