What a lovely face, how old is she?

she was 16 1/2 we had to have her put to sleep october 08.she went off her legs.the house and garden seem so empty without her

Yes, it's so sad when you have to say goodbye to a beloved pet...
I'm sure you gave Sally a wonderful life...

We gardners love our pets as much as life. They are such an intricate part of it all. Tough decision to put them to sleep....sometimes I wonder if people should have that option. Love them, don't want to be selfish..but can't watch them suffer.

it was truly an horrific decision to make,i was 27 when we had her im now 44.what ever i was doing in the garden she was there checking it out.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sally, Suey, she was a credit to you living to that age. I know how you must miss her. Welcome to GoY, I haven't been here very long, but it is a wonderful place to be. Pull up a stone and sit with us and chat.............:o)

I added snowball to my favourites, then noticed he had lost both his companions so had to favourite those as well, with tears in my eyes. It must be age.

16.5 is a grand old age ! I've been through it twice myself Suey, so my heart goes out to you.
