One of my favourite Achilleas.

Hmmm...it's in the top border, so it must be quite a tall one. Over 2', at least, probably more.

I dug out a bright red one - too 'in your face' - but this is a lovely colour. Goes well with the pinks, mauves and purples that I like in this particular bed...oh, and white, too.

Mmm yes, my colours! I think the yellow ones are too strident as well, but i love the terracotta one!

Hmmm... not in that bed, that's for sure! Wish there was a really purple one! The white are 'muddy', the pale pink are a bit insipid, I grow 'Goldplate', which is a good tall one, and it's OK where it is, but the range isn't very inspiring, is it?
Out of a packet of seeds, most of them were pale pink.

yes, I'm not keen on mixed colours of seeds - you always get loads of your least favourite colour don't you! It's like how there's only ever one or two black fruit pastilles, but at least four green ones!
