Irish - it was great fun watching this one. I think it did know there was something wrong, but couldn't work it out.

No - the poor thing! This mother and joey have been the only ones around for a couple of days now, and the joey wasn't being very helpful - slept through the whole thing!

What a lovely set of photos, IHow lovely to have wildlife like that around, or is it in an enclosure. Do they come in gardens and if so no doubt they do LOTS of damage?

Lily2 - these wallabies come into our yard all the time. We live next to bushland and they wander in to eat the grass. They don't do any damage really - except this year they seem to develop a taste for my portulaca in one of the downstairs garden bed. They don't come up to my courtyard garden and they can't get into the greenhouse garden - where I have most of my flowering plants.

Thanks Deida and Pansypotter - glad you had a giggle. I did too when I was watching this episode - I felt as if I should have helped the poor thing out but it's a wild creature so I didn't.

It probably had a laugh its self at the end of the day!

Homebird - glad he enjoyed them. I also sent these to my granddaughter, whose also 5, and she thought it was the most hilarious thing ever! She thought I should have gone downstairs and told the poor thing what was wrong.
