Today I tackled that garden bed again. I dug out all the soil, sifted it and I’ll put it back in. (We did that when we dug out the fishbone ferns and Agapanthus.) Granny – always generous – saw what I was doing and gave me $40 to buy potted colour and plants for the garden bed!!!
I also planted my SNAPDRAGON AND CARNATION seeds today. Hopefully I will get some nice blooms!
Spring has definitely sprung here in Aus, today it’s 28 degrees c and very windy!!! (So much for my plans to Roundup all the bricks.)
Happy autumn gardening, everyone!

Sounds like a great day's work - good on Granny too, hope the seeds come through beautifully for you both! It's hit 30 degrees C up here today, but humidity is really low so it's a lovely day. Just can't stand out in the sun for too long. Did you find a solution for the bindi-is yet? I used to pour boiling hot water on them or pile salt on top of them - both worked, but you're left with a brown patch for a while.
