Vinnies comes up trumps again today! Got a pair of brand new joggers: very much needed as I’ve grown out of my old ones.
Now I dearly love my elderly grandmother who lives in front of us on the same block, but she just can’t get around as well as she used to, and you can see it in the garden. Quite a few pots contain nothing but weeds and today I only had to touch this zygocactus and it fell out of the soil (literally!) Hmmm. Sounds like a job for Superpip! (I wish.)
So, today I’ve started cleaning up the garden a bit, ready for spring. I bought seed-raising mix for my new ASTERS AND CARNATIONS and then I tackled this bit of land that used to be a garden bed but it’s kind of weed-y. I managed to dig most of the weeds out, but I have no idea how to stop them returning (because they will return, no doubt about that). Any suggestions, GoY?

Keep hoeing, and get them out when they are still babies - just don't let them seed!!

Sorry-mistake - I've been saying I'm planting Asters and Carnations but I just looked at the packet and it's Snapdragons and carnations! Must've forgotten what I bought!
