Hi there

I hope this message finds you all well and looking forward to Spring!

I wanted to say thank you as I noticed that many of you have been remembering Yorkshire on the rhubarb blog, she loved that blog as it really made her laugh!
As many of you will know, Val loved GOY and her friends that she communicated with on a daily basis, some of you actually got together in ‘real life’ which was great!

Those that knew my mum will probably remember her wicked and daft sense of humour, I miss that very much and it appears that many of you do too. Thank you, she would love that she was being remembered for such a positive trait!

Ralph (Mr Yorkshire) has asked to me stop her account on GOY, the GOY developers have been great, really supportive and kind, you may have seen that there is now a message on Yorkshires homepage saying that she has passed away. All of mums photos and blogs and I’m sure her private messages to you all will stay in situ so that you can continue to laugh!

We scattered mums ashes in a beautiful wooded area where her parents and sister (who passed away weeks after mum) are laid. Some of you may know that she enjoyed a beer so I suspecting that hops will grow in that area later in the year! ( only kidding, that’s a Yorky joke!)

Thank you all for remembering, I now understand why she loved GOY and all of you so very much!

Hi Johanna, I'm pleased to know your mam's ashes were scattered in a nice place, with her relations. I'm sure that's a great comfort to you.
