This is my Desert Rose blooming in the middle of summer. Photo taken with my iPhone on July 20, 2011.

You may be able to see the little Sausage tree seedlings to the left. I should take some photos of them, as they're starting to flush with new growth, now. :>)

Yes, many of the tropical, subtropical trees, shrubs and plants bloom here from fall - early spring. I do post many photos in winter.
