Ajuga reptans 'Burgundy Glow'

Sid

By Sid

Ajuga reptans 'Burgundy Glow' (Ajuga reptans 'Burgundy Glow')

A lot less vigorous and a little more slug prone than A.'Braunherz', but a pretty little thing. Behind it is Carex 'Frosted Curls'.

This looks good Sid.
Didn't realise slugs like ajugas ?
Do they eat the plants away to nothing ?

Well, they seem to like this one! It just looked a bit tatty last year, but it looks fine now. They didn't touch the dark-leaved one at all, just this one. Got lots of frogs and tadpols now and this is right next to the pond, so hopefully there will not be a problem this year :-)

Interesting that slugs weren't so keen on the dark leaf one...
Thanks for the info..
