Gorgeous!!! I’d be pleased too - love to have the space for one.

Wow Shirley how pretty...wonder if there is room here for one?

Thanks Josie, Kate and Julia. I originally looked for A. 'Obelisk' with no success, then saw an A. canadensis 'Rainbow Pillar' which has the same upright, slender, columnar habit.
A bargain at £20 from a local family run nursery.

It fills the space where an Eleagnus was removed.

I love it Shirley. I have two now and in blossom now.

Rose, how lovely to have two of them!

I have both Obelisk and Rainbow Pillar. My Obelisk is almost in bloom in a shady spot. The Rainbow pillar is growing well but doesn’t seem to have any blossoms. You will be thrilled with the autumn colour Shirley. It’s fabulous!
